PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled paper connecting method for preventing the failure of connecting due to the flotation of a web end of a new rolled paper sheet resulting from the rotation when pasting the web end of the new rolled paper sheet to a web of a rolled paper sheet being used for connecting operation. SOLUTION: The rolled paper connecting method comprises adhering the web end 14 of the new rolled paper sheet 3 to the web of the rolled paper being used, when running out, and cutting the web of the old rolled paper sheet or splicing operation. A continuous tab 18 having slits 18-3 formed in the longitudinal direction and an adhesive 18-2 deposited on both sides of the slit 18-3 is pasted al over the line of the web end 14 of the new rolled paper sheet 3.
