An apparatus for use in carrying out the comprises a biometric sensor configured to receive a biometric input; a memory configured to store a biometric template associated with a user, the memory configured to store a value associated with the user, the value being associated with a prescribed personal data field; and a processor coupled to the biometric sensor and the memory, the processor configured to authenticate a biometric input based on the biometric template, the processor configured to output to a receiving party associated with a deliverable the value associated with the user such that the receiving party reduces a price of the deliverable by a prescribed discount when the biometric input is authentic.
