PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment, which when displaying image data by making them rotated, or enlarged or reduced on the screen can rotate, or enlarge or reduce the image data even around the display part of current interest, while excluding unwanted parts, where image data are not present as much as possible. SOLUTION: A CPU 10, when rotating the image data displayed on the screen, rotates a display scanning area on the screen relatively to an expansion area of the image data about the center of the display scanning area, even though the image data expanded in a RAM 12 are left as they are. When the rotated display scanning area deviates from the expansion area of the image data, the CPU 10 makes display scanning area displaced into the expansion area of the image data. |
