CORE-SHELL STRUCTURAL POLYMER PARTICLES AND POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core-shell structural polymer particles having excellent handleability and dispersibility which can give impact resistance to a PET resin while well maintaining high transparency of the resin a particle mixture containing the particles and a PET resin composition containing them. SOLUTION: The particles have (i) a core comprising an aromatic vinyl compound polymer and (ii) a shell comprising an alkyl acrylate polymer of a 2-8C alkyl group. The content of the shell (ii) is 10 mass % or more, an average particle size of the core (i) is 150-500 nm and the thickness of the shell (ii) is 5-25 nm. The mixture contains the particles and an aromatic vinyl polymer particles. The composition contains the particles or the mixture thereof.
