PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of receiving position information of a terminal, map information or the like from the outside, and presenting information on the periphery of the present position based on the acquired information. SOLUTION: The navigation system has a constitution wherein plural information providing devices 2 are arranged beforehand at fixed intervals, and a navigation device 1 is moved between the devices, and information such as the position information of the information providing device 2 itself, its peripheral map or the like provided from the information providing device 2 is received intermittently through a receiving part 11, displayed on a display part 17, renewed, and presented to a user, to thereby enable navigation without providing a present position measuring means and map data in the navigation device. |
