PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of generating a sufficient pressure contacting force (holding force) even if the turning force of an operation lever (fastening force) is small, and reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The operation lever 13 is installed on the threaded portion of a fastening bolt 10 by a nut 12, and a cam part 14 composed of a lobe 15, flank 16 and bottom 17 is formed on the end face of the lever 13. To a car body side bracket 3, a metal thin plate 20 is fixed which is provided with a fastened side swollen part 22 extending along a long hole 5 for tilting motion and to be engaged with the cam part 14, and in the swollen part 22, a long hole 23 is formed extending along the long hole 5 to admit the insertion of the fastening bolt 10. In the swollen part 22, a piece 24 penetrated by the bolt 10 is stored in such a way as slidable in the direction of the long hole 5. |
