PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower an impact load acting on an occupant by starting the bending deformation of a sub frame in the middle of a frontal impact of an automobile and decreasing a car body deceleration as aimed. SOLUTION: A perimeter frame 30 having a pair of side member parts 33, 33 extending to the longitudinal direction of a car body is mounted below front side frames 11, 11 and a bending part protruding outward of the car body seen from the vertical direction of the car body is formed on each side member part 33, 33. A cross member part 50 bridges vicinities of the bending parts of the side member parts 33, 33 in a way connecting them and is mounted via a bracket 51. A protruding part 55 positioned forward spacingly by a predetermined distance from the cross member part 50 and protruding so as to be overlapped with the cross member part 50 seen from the longitudinal direction of the car body is formed on the lower end of an engine 2 supported by the front side frames 11, 11.
