PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sealing apparatus which can accomplish good heat sealing even under severe conditions in liquid, for example, when a vegetable juice rich in water-insoluble vegetable fibers is packed without forming projected stripes on the action surface of a high frequency coil. SOLUTION: In the high frequency heat sealing apparatus composed of a sealing jaw 23 which is equipped with a freely openable/closable high frequency coil 22 and heat-seals a tubular packaging material transversally in liquid and an opposite jaw 25 fitted with a sealing rubber 24 having a flat action surface, in the action surface of the sealing jaw, channels 26 contacting the inside of the end part on the container inner surface side of a sealing zone both right and left sides of which are narrowed roundly are formed over the whole in the longitudinal direction, and a molten resin outflow part 27 is formed adjacently to the outside on the cutting side of the high frequency coil. The widths of the channels 26 can be made partially different. |
