PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which can easily mold paper products having desired peripheral surfaces and curved surfaces, which can be used as cushioning materials for approximately columnar, approximately cylindrical, approximately conical, approximately truncated-conical, and spherical articles and articles having other shapes, from a paper plate such as corrugated cardboard. SOLUTION: A state in which the first curved surface forming plates 13 and the second curved surface forming plates 23 are folded at a prescribed angle and a state in which the curved surface forming plates 13 and 23 are warped to have a prescribed radius of curvature are maintained. Only by laminating the second curved surface forming plate 23 between the first adjacent curved surface forming plates 13, the paper product having a desired curved surface can be molded. The shape of the paper product can be approximately conical, approximately truncated-conical, and semispherical.
