PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image generator wherein its operating section containing a liquid crystal display and a touch panel is easily viewable from both tilting and non-tilting directions to allow easier operation. SOLUTION: The image generator is provided with a reflector retained in the position tilted against the liquid crystal display on the opposite side of the touch panel for reflecting the indication of the liquid crystal display, a mode switching means to switch between a first mode wherein an operator directly views a first operational screen displayed on the liquid crystal display and a second mode wherein an operator views through the reflector a mirror image of a second operational screen displayed on the liquid crystal display, and a control means controlling so that the first operational screen is displayed on the liquid crystal display to allow the touch panel to have a touching function applicable to the first operational screen in the first mode as well as the second operational screen is displayed on the liquid crystal display to allow the touch panel to have a touching function applicable to the second operational screen in the second mode. |
