PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and high performance swash plate compressor capable of securely preventing leakage between cylinder and having a decompressing mechanism without clogging and a valve plate capable of preventing corrosion. SOLUTION: In the swash plate compressor, a tapered hole-shaped intake valve seat, whose inner diameter becomes larger toward cylinder bores of a cylinder block, and a tapered hole-shaped intake valve seat, whose inner diameter becomes smaller toward the cylinder bores, are formed on a valve plate mounted between a cylinder head and the cylinder block with the cylinder bores. The swash plate compressor has an intake valve comprising a valve element part to be seated on the intake valve seat and a rod part extending from the valve element part to the cylinder head through the hole of the valve seat, and an elastic member for the intake valve engaged with the intake valve for pressing the valve element part on the intake valve seat. The swash plate compressor also has a delivery valve comprising a valve element part to be seated on the delivery valve seat and a rod part extending from the valve element part to the cylinder head, and an elastic member for the delivery valve engaged with the delivery valve for pressing the valve element part on the delivery valve seat. |
