PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power drive belt of which the main rubber material is made of chloroprene rubber having an excellent effect for inhibiting adhesive wear. SOLUTION: In a V-ribbed belt wherein a core wire 3 is buried in an adhesive rubber layer 2 along the longitudinal direction and a compressive rubber layer 4 is provided under the wire, at least the compressive rubber layer 4 is composed of the chloroprene rubber as the main rubber material, and a rubber composition composed of a metal oxide, an organic peroxide andα,β-unsaturated aliphatic metallic salt is used for the belt.
