PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for aligning a mark, capable of accurately aligning the alignment mark of a micro-lens and a liquid crystal cell, and to provide a manufacturing method for a liquid crystal display device and a liquid crystal projector. SOLUTION: A first image pick-up means 55 to take in the data of the first alignment mark 61 and a second image pick-up means 57 to take in the data of the second alignment marks 62a, 62b-62d are provided, and both image pick-up means 55, 57 are adjusted so as to have light-intercepting sensitivity corresponding to the illumination by reflecting light of both alignment marks 61, 62a, 62b-62d.
