PURPOSE: A reinforcing bracket inside a bumper stay installed between a bumper face and a car frame is provided to reduce impact in collision. CONSTITUTION: A bumper stay is installed between a bumper face and a car frame. A reinforcing bracket(30) is installed in the space portion of the bumper stay. A deforming portion(31) is formed in the reinforcing bracket. A plurality of groove(32) is formed in outer side of the deforming portion. The front surface of the reinforcing bracket is attached to the outer panel of the bumper stay. The rear surface of the reinforcing bracket is attached to the inner panel of the bumper stay.
