IMAGE RECORDING DEVICE AND ITS PLATE FITTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plate where an image is recorded from defectively being loaded on a drum or carried after being detached from the drum in an image recording device which winds the drum with the plate and holds the plate. SOLUTION: This device has a supply guide panel 41 which sends the plate in toward a clamp position between a front-end side clamp member 6, held open nearby the peak of the drum, and the outer peripheral surface of the drum so as to fit the plate 1 to the drum 2 and this supply guide panel is so arranged that the plate is sent in to the clamp position after temporarily coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the drum before the front-end side clamp member. Further, the device is provided with ejection guide rollers 53 and 54 which clamp one end of the plate paid off by releasing it from being fixed by one clamp member nearby the drum and guides it to a specific ejection path so as to detach the plate from the drum.
