PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-resonant knock sensor capable of rationalizing the manufacturing process and reducing the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: An annular electrode is formed by bending twice a connecting lever member 26, which is projected from the periphery of an annular main section 25 in an annular electrode plate 20 while being parallel to the centerline of the annular main section 25, in a crank shape to have a height corresponding to the half of thickness of an annular piezoelectric element 8, is arranged on the front and rear faces of the annular piezoelectric element 8 so that a connection edge 27 is set side by side. Thereby, only identical kind annular electrode plate 20 are enough to be manufactured, and the manufacturing process can be rationalized.
