PURPOSE: A system for automatic detection of a vehicle or an object is provided to distinguish missing vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A system for automatic detection of a vehicle or an object includes at least one movable reader(3). The movable reader includes electronic data having a wireless transmission and receiving device to transmit discrimination code of a vehicle or object inside the vehicle or the object and to store, a case approaching the vehicle or object outside the vehicle or object and freely moving, a display screen, a beeper, and an access device for insertion of a memory card. The system for automatic detection includes a device for storing(5) the records of a file(4) of the discrimination code of the vehicle or object, a wireless device producing transmission of discrimination code, a comparing device for comparing the discrimination code included in the file with the discrimination code transmitted by the electronic data, a reporting device for reporting existence of the vehicle accorded with the discrimination code memorized in the file, and a communication center(14) connected to the station(18) of a user by a data transmission network(17) to renew the discrimination code included in the file.
