PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost softener for softening a polypropylene resin, its production method, and a polypropylene resin composition using the same. SOLUTION: This softener contains a copolymer comprising (a) 10-99 mass% units derived from at least one conjugated diene monomer, (b) 1-99 mass % units derived from at least one (meth)acrylate monomer, and (c) 0-20 mass% units derived from another monomer copolymerizable with the foregoing monomers.
