PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve weight-saving and resource conservation by reducing the amount of materials consumed in a double container consisting of an outer container and an inner container. SOLUTION: In the double container including an outer container with a mouth part adapted for tight engagement with a cover body and an inner container provided inside the outer container, the body portion of the inner container is formed from volume-reducible thin-walled materials and supported by the outer container through a reinforcing ring adapted to be fitted in the mouth part of the outer container.
