PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container for liquid which uses a packaging material containing no aluminum foil, prevents the quality change of its contents effectively by greatly suppressing the penetration of outside light, generates no problem in processing for disposal after use, has a clear and superior printed design outer appearance, and does not show a colored resin layer which gives a consumer a feeling of incongruence when the container is opened. SOLUTION: This relates to a paper container for liquid formed with a container material 1A. On the outside face of a base material paper board layer 2, at least a design printed layer 3, a white printed layer 4, a shielding color printed layer 5 are placed from the outside. On the inner face of the layer 2, at least a thermoplastic resin layer 7 is provided as an innermost layer.
