PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external joint section for a uniform velocity joint includ ing first and second external grooves of which the depth must be substantially kept constant in the zone between a first end face and a second end face in the external joint section and the manufacturing process is simplified. SOLUTION: In the internal wall 10, a circular external section 2 departs from different end faces 8, 9 respectively and includes first outer grooves 11 and second outer grooves 13 distributed to the circumference extending to the other end face respectively in a way without undercuts. A first web 16 and a second web 21 corresponding to the first outer groove and the second outer groove are arranged protrudedly on the cylindrical outside face 15 of the external joint section 2. In the sectional planes 19, 20 including the groove bases 12, 14 of the respective outer grooves, the outer faces of both webs follow with a distance the groove bases. |
