PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a homogeneous belt by centrifugal molding which can inject a liquid pre-polymer and produce the belt without being affected by the size of the belt and an apparatus for the method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the belt by centrifugal molding includes an injection process for injecting the pre-polymer in a cavity 2 formed in a mold assembly 6 and a curing process for heat-curing the pre-polymer cast in the cavity 2. In the injection process, the mold assembly 6 is arranged on a vertical shaft, the cavity 2 is arranged in the first vertical posture, the pre-polymer is injected from an opening part 7 which is formed at the rotational center of the assembly 6 and reaches the cavity 2, and the assembly 6 is rotated before and after the injection. In the curing process, the rotary shaft is slanted at about 90 deg. while the assembly 6 is rotated, and the cavity 2 is arranged in the second horizontal posture.
