PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display unit allowing a driver IC for liquid crystal driving not to be affected by static charge. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display unit 14 affixed with a metal plate 7, when establishing printed circuit boards 3 and 15 on a liquid crystal cell 2 as an annex, the printed circuit board 15 is shortened in its longitudinal length and a part of the metal plate 7 is exposed, to connect a GND pad 17 formed near around the end on the printed circuit board 15 with the exposed surface of the metal plate 7 through a wire bonding 18 using a gold wire.
