PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate laying work of a wire harness in a car body pillar for supporting a back door and restrain an increase in weight caused by the reinforcement of the pillar. SOLUTION: This pillar constitutes a side edge of an opening formed on a car body back part to support the back door. The pillar 10C is a columnar hollow structure formed by connecting an inner panel 11, an outer panel 12, a quarter extension panel 13, an inner reinforcement 15, and an outer reinforcement 14 with each other. The inner reinforcement 15 is formed by upper and lower reinforcements 15a, 15 and is not interposed between upper and lower supports 13a, 13b for supporting the back door. The wire harness 10e penetrates between the supports 13a, 13b for being laid.
