PURPOSE: A circuit for automatically turning on/off a power LED of an image display device is provided to automatically turn on/off the power LED of a monitor when a computer is turned on/off. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for automatically turning on/off a power LED of an image display device includes the first inverter(301) for receiving DDC data, the first integrator(302) connected to the output of the first inverter, the second inverter(303) for receiving a DDC clock, and the second integrator(304) connected to the output of the second inverter. The circuit further includes NAND gate(305) for receiving the outputs of the integrators and a DPM-off signal, and a transistor(306) connected to the output of the NAND gate and an LED indicating power on/off state of the image display device.
