PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and easy biological deodorization instrument for removing a malodor in a room or a compartment by utilizing microorganisms. SOLUTION: The biological deodorization instrument is constituted by providing not only a cartridge holding part capable of attaching a biological cartridge, wherein deodorizing microorganisms are provided in a casing equipped with a suction port for sucking the open air and a discharge port for discharging internal air, in a detachable manner but also a fan for forcibly discharging the air in the casing from the discharge port. It is preferable to provide a filter for preventing the penetration of dust between the cartridge holding part and the suction port.
