STRUCTURE OF HYBRID PDP DISPLAY PANEL DEVICE

PURPOSE: A structure of hybrid PDP display panel device is provided to minimize height of a barrier rib and improve lighting efficiency by forming the electrodes receiving an RF signal on the same surface of a lower substrate. CONSTITUTION: A data electrode(22) is patterned on a rear panel(21) and an AC voltage applies to the data electrode. A first dielectric layer(23) is laminated on a top of the rear panel. A sustain electrode(24) is patterned on the first dielectric layer and an RF signal applies to the sustain electrode. A scan electrode(25) is used as a grounding electrode of an AC voltage and the RF signal. A second dielectric(26) and a protection layer(27) are laminated successively on the first dielectric. A barrier rib(28) is formed on the protection layer for sectioning discharge cells and a phosphor(29) is deposited on the side wall of the barrier rib. A sustain electrode is buried in the barrier rib and receives an RF signal. A face panel(30) is attached to the barrier rib.
