PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bead coating device that not only prevents a processing trouble by thick coating at both the edge parts but also enables a high yield, a highly-efficient coating operation which has a big effect on restraining a thick coating or a thin coating at both the edge parts. SOLUTION: The coating device is featured as follows. In a slide bead coating device, a slide face discharge width of at least one layer of the slit is narrower than the inner width of a regulation member of the coating width on the slide face, and a slit of the narrow width is of an increasingly slanting shape in the slit width toward a slit exit inside a coating die.
