<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-liquid contacting device which maintains solvent absorption efficiency unlowered with a reduced amount of makeup water, and hightens the solvent concentration of water finally discharged. SOLUTION: Water which absorbed a solvent in a gas is drained from a processing vessel 14, and is set to a freezer 22. When the freezer 22 freezes the water, the solvent is not frozen, whereas the water is frozen by the difference in a freezing point and becomes ice similar to pure water. The ice is dissolved to reuse it in the processing vessel 14, thereby an amount of fresh water is reduced. The concentration of the solvent in unfrozen water separated from the water is heightened by concentration, and the water containing this highly concentrated solvent can be used as a cleaning agent, a fuel, and a coating liquid to be coated on a planographic plate. Moreover, the concentration of the solvent contained in the ice can be adjusted by controlling the flow velocity of the water containing the solvent flowing along the cooling surface of the freezer 22.</p> |
