PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single independent authentication data output device outputting various pieces of authentication data of high security by fingerprint authentication. SOLUTION: In the authentication data output device 1, an input unit is connected to a registration side connector 15, a switch 16 is changed over to a registration side and a system becomes a registration mode. It generates and stores an operation database provided with a record constituted of fingerprint data which is read from a fingerprint authentication module 7 and permission data of plural hierarchies and multiple digits, which is inputted and set from the input unit. The input unit is detached from the registration side connector 15 and a desired unit or device is connected to an operation side connector 14. The switch 16 is changed over to an operation side and the system becomes a fingerprint authentication operation mode. A fingerprint inputted from the fingerprint authentication module 7 is collated with the fingerprint of the operation database. When they are matched, the record corresponding to the matched fingerprint is read from the operation database and permission data of the plural hierarchies and multiple digits is outputted to the connected unit or device. The unit or device permits or does not permit use based on received permission data. |
