PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at reduction of manufacturing cost, downsizing and reduction in weight of a disk drive, and maintain stability of a motor rotation and improve operation stability of the disk drive. SOLUTION: The inner rotor motor comprises a rotor 2 with a plurality of magnetic poles 25n and 25s placed circumferentially, and a stator 3 in which coils 33a-38a are installed to each magnetic pole teeth 33-38 of a stator core 31 with the plurality of magnetic pole teeth 33-38 placed circumferentially outside the rotor 2 and facing the rotor 2. The stator 3 is placed in the range within 180 deg. with respect to the center 21 of the rotor 2, in a chassis 1 made of a magnetic material in which the rotor 2 is installed rotatably, notches 11, 12, 13, 14 for adjusting the force which works between the rotor 2 and the chassis 1 is arranged under the rotation place of a magnetic pole 25 in the rotor 1.
