NOZZLE SUPPORT FOR A DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT DEVICE

A dimensional measurement device (1) comprising a body (3) and two nozzle supports (6, 7) each of which supports one nozzle (15, 16), said nozzles being connected to a measurement processing device. The measurement device is designed to measure the diameter (22) of a part, preferably accommodated between two nozzle supports. The two nozzle supports can be respectively moved away from each other, the diameters being able to be measured by said device within a large value scale while, at the same time, guaranteeing quality of measurement. The distancing is achieved by means of a rotary engine (26) and gearing (28,30). Preferably, the two nozzle supports are displaced according to two orthogonal axes (13, 14) therebetween.
