Herein is described a braking device particularly, for the braking of bicycles comprising: a tubular body 11 that houses in its interior a threaded bolt 12, being said bolt 12 connected at its upper end to an actuator 13and at itys lower end to a friction bushing 16, said bolt 12 having a threaded section in contact with a bushing 15 providing the possibility to said bolt 12 of displacing in an axial direction.the friction bushing 16 is in contact with a spring 17 that at the same time is joined to a friction plate 20, thus providing a stable braking action.
