PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface lighting system which does not generate unwanted scattered light even if it is made thin. SOLUTION: This light guide plate 10 is formed in a plain square shape, and the edge and corners are chamfered. A white case 12 is arranged on the bottom and the lower side of the light guide plate 10, and a white case 14 is arranged on the top and the upper side of the light guide plate 10. A light diffusion sheet 18 is stuck to the top, or the light emitting surface of the light guide plate 10. The inner walls of the white case 12 and the white case 14 are formed along the rounded surface of the light guide plate 10. A light source (LED) 16 is installed in the central part on the inside surface of the white case 12. |
