PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-stage stroke cylinder having a two-stage stop position for an object and having an increased freedom degree of a stroke to correspond to various types of welded members. SOLUTION: This multi-stage stroke cylinder allows a piston rod 13 to stop at the intermediate position of the stroke, and allows the return position of a main piston to be adjusted. To stop at the intermediate position, a rod 22 connected to a stop-position set-piston 21 is led to the outside, and a stopper 23 installed at the tip thereof is brought into contact with a contact part 31a. A stop position determined by the stopper 23 is variable. The return position of the main piston 12 is set by bringing the tip of a position set rod 44 connected to a return position set piston 43 in contact with the back of the stop- position set piston 21.
