PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce n-type semiconductor diamond as an electronic emitting material at a low cost. SOLUTION: A dopant is added to electrolytic liquid containing at least one kind of liquid ammonia or liquid amine, a cathode and an anode are immersed, a voltage is applied between the cathode and the anode and, thereby, the semiconductor diamond containing the dopant is precipitated and deposited on the cathode.
