<p>Remedies for chronic hepatitis C containing as the active ingredient α-[4-(4-chlorobenzoylaminoethyl)phenoxy]isobutyric acid, which has effects of suppressing hepatobiliary enzymes and inhibiting the proliferation of HCV and is represented by the following formula (I), or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof: (I) These remedies have an outstanding effect of exerting the function even in cases where interferon regarded as the primary drug for treating chronic hepatitis C is ineffective.</p> |
