<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel exhaust emission control apparatus of which filtering efficiency of an inorganic fiber filter for particulate matters in exhaust gas of a diesel engine is increased. SOLUTION: The diesel exhaust emission control apparatus 1 utilizes the inorganic fiber filter for filtering the particulate matters in the exhaust gas of the diesel engine. In the diesel exhaust emission control apparatus, electrodes E1 that are disposed on a face upstream of the exhaust gas flowing in a filter 2 and made of heat resistant wire netting 3-1 and ceramic sheath type electrodes E2 disposed near the face upstream of the exhaust gas are arranged, and high voltage pulses are applied between the electrodes.</p> |
