摘要 <p>1281311 Valves MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 19 April 1971 [26 Feb 1970] 22698/71 Heading F2V [Also in Division F4] A cutting torch or combined welding and cutting torch (Divisions F3-F4) supplied with oxygen and fuel gas includes a cutting oxygen valve 96, a valve for controlling the pressure of the oxygen used for heating purposes, formed by a 50 degrees valve core 74 of heating oxygen valve body 68, and a heating oxygen inlet bore 84 in a mixing nozzle assembly 40 to mix heating oxygen and fuel gas which also contains a mixing nozzle bore 48 forming an angle with bore 84, and is constructed so that the mixing nozzle assembly and heating oxygen valve can be removed as a unit. Oxygen flows from supply bore 28, through the valve and out of the mixing nozzle bore 48 into annular space 42, entraining fuel gas from bore 30 and feeding it through bore 38 and pipe 24 to torch head 26 for heating purposes. Casing 16 has a handwheel 20 for opening the heating oxygen valve via closure element 52, while the mixing nozzle assembly is secured against rotation by a pin 82 in a slot 80 and sealing is effected by sealing rings 60 and 64, retained by flanged over wall 66, and 0-rings 62, 44 and 46. For simplicity of manufacture, the heating oxygen valve, mixing nozzle assembly and cutting oxygen valve 96 are disposed in a common axis in a common bore 32. The cutting oxygen valve is held shut by a compression spring 88 until pressure element 90 is moved downwards by a lever 98 or alternatively by a handwheel 18, lifting seal 92 off edge 94 and allowing cutting oxygen to flow from supply bore 28 to bore 36 and pipe 22.</p>
