PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounter 1 in which a burden onto a worker is lessened by providing a function for cleaning a suction nozzle 21 automatically when an electronic component 6 is mounted on a board 5, thereby cleaning the nozzle without stopping a production line, a mounting method and a method for producing a circuit board. SOLUTION: The mounter 1 comprises a mounting head 2 having the suction nozzle 21, a conveyor 4, and a feeding unit 3 having a tape box 32 and provided with a cleanout 7 coupled with the tape box 32. At a specified timing of a process for repeating work for mounting the electronic component 6 onto the board 5, the mounting head 2 is moved to a cleaning position, and compressed air is introduced to the suction nozzle 21 of the mounter while directing the tip 22b of a suction tube 22 of the suction nozzle 21 toward the cleanout 7. The mounting method having such a process and the method for producing the circuit board including such a mounting method are also provided. |
