Storage arrangement for e.g. large upright glass panels consists of storage racks and panel transporter, with drawer-like frames for panels in racks and carrier with grab for frames

The arrangement consists of one or two storage units and a transporter. Each unit (1,2) consists of a storage rack (8) with drawer-like frames (9) for support of the panels. The frames are positioned at a slight angle, and slide in guide rails at the top, and have lower rail-guided wheels on a bracket. The rails (15) extend in longitudinal direction of the frames, and project from the rack on both sides. A carrier above the rack has a grab for each frame. The carrier is coupled to two synchronous drives, and the transporter moves along the racks only.
