The roofing consists of a tarpaulin and spacer elements (1) between tarpaulin and caravan roof. The spacers are fixed to the roof by fastener straps (2) with integrated holder loops. The loops are adjustable in size and position, and locked in position by a self-locking buckle. The distance between the spacers can be selected. The spacers are of a form-stable material and are bars extending across the roof. The tarpaulin is fastened by tension on two opposite sides of the caravan.
