The engine has a rotary disk valve (3) above the cylinder cavity in the cylinder block or cylinder head. There is a limiting disk valve (4) fitted axially after the rotary disk valve, with control apertures (e.g. 423) in it. It is driven in parallel with the rotary disk valve, with synchronized crankshafts, via the mechanical transmission (6), and can be altered in its angle to the rotary disk valve by an angle setter (7).
