PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically distinguishing marking position in a laser marking system is provided to automatically observe and distinguish the marking position of a workpiece. CONSTITUTION: In a laser marking system for marking the irradiated surface of the workpiece by irradiating laser beam outputted from a laser onto a workpiece(150) using a scan head(110), the apparatus for automatically distinguishing marking position in the laser marking system comprises a vision camera(120) which is capable of distinguishing the marking position by observing the marking position of the workpiece using a visible ray and obtaining image data on the observed workpiece(150); a total reflection mirror(130) for reflecting an incident visible ray from the vision camera(120); and a cold mirror(140) for reflecting the incident visible ray from the total reflection mirror(130) and penetrating the laser beam irradiated from the scan head(110), wherein the total reflection mirror(130) and cold mirror(140) are arranged in such a manner that the scan head(110) is conformable with a normal coordinate system on the workpiece(150) of the vision camera(120). |
