The support bracket has a frame (1) on which is mounted a pivoted carrier (4) which can be attached to the table surface and locked in a horizontal position. A stop bolt can be mounted between the carrier and the section (3) of the frame attached to the carrier. A sprung locking clip attaches the carrier and the opposing leg (2) of the frame to the worktable. A hook (5) can be attached to the frame or the carrier to support a backpack or case.
