PURPOSE: To improve the heat conduction efficiency of a cask. CONSTITUTION: The shape in a cavity 102 of a shell body 101 is adjusted to the outward form of a basket 130. The basket 130 has a structure of laying plate members 135 by turns in crossing. Around the plate members 135, heat conduction plates are provided. With this configuration, the basket 130 and the cavity 102 are in contact state with a wide area and so heat conduction efficiency improves.
