[Also in Division C3] Metal plates are coated with a composition which comprises (a) one or more polymers which have been externally plasticized with one or more plasticizers and (b) one or more polymers which have not been externally plasticized and which do not absorb (or absorb to a small extent) the said plasticizers, the second order transition temperatures of two of the polymeric components differing by at least 10 ‹C. and this difference being preserved in the mixture, the polymeric components of the mixture being homopolymers and/or copolymers of vinyl esters, esters of unsaturated mono- or di-carboxylic acids, vinyl chloride or propylene.
