<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam plant provided with a facility for treating organic matter with supercritical water, in which environmental pollution is prevented by reducing the amount of a toxic material to be generated by decomposing the organic matter and energy saving is realized. SOLUTION: This steam plant 2 is provided with at least a boiler water supply system 13, a boiler 4 and a steam supplying system 5, and furthermore a facility 3 for treating organic matter with supercritical water, which has a treating water withdrawing unit for extracting at least any of supercritical water g, subcritical water k and steam from at least any position of the system 13, the boiler 4 and the system 5 or a reheat steam system 10 to obtain supercritical water g, an organic matter decomposition reaction tank 24 for oxidatively decomposing the organic matter by using the supercritical water g obtained by the treating water withdrawing unit as a solvent and introducing an oxidizer if necessary, and a treated water discharging unit 26 for discharging the treated water i generated by oxidatively decomposing the organic matter h.</p> |
