PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fermented soybean packaging body and a method for manufacturing fermented soybeans by means of the same, which enable the fermented soybeans to be manufactured without using a perforated coating for a tray or a cup and enhance eating properties. SOLUTION: The fermented soybean packaging body is provided with a container body 2 and a lid body 7. The container body 2 has a bottom face 3, a side wall 4 which rises at a prescribed angle from a periphery of the bottom face 3, and a flange part 5 which protrudes from an upper end of the side wall 4 approximately in parallel with the bottom face 3. The lid body 7 is integrated with one end of the flange part 5 via a folded part 8 and made approximately equal in size to the flange part 5. A central part, except a part brought into contact with the flange part 5, of the lid body 7 is formed with a depression 10, which is large enough to form a prescribed gap g between the depression 10 and the side face 4 and deep enough to be brought into contact with surfaces of smothered soybeans by intruding into the container body 2 when the lid body 7 is closed, and a plurality of grooves 11 on a side of the surfaces of the smothered soybeans, which come into contact with the depression 10. |
