PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting bit capable of cutting and removing efficiently a tubular body such as an asbestos tube. SOLUTION: The cutting bit has a plurality of projecting parts 6 formed in the lower part of a bit shank 2 and projecting radially from the shank 2. Edge fitting parts 3 are provided, with notched parts 7 formed between the adjacent projecting parts 6, and chips 8 constituting cutting edges are planted respectively on the upper sides of the projecting parts 6 so that they are positioned in the state of concentric circles.
